Break the Shell!

Until you open up, until you loosen the grip a little bit, the seed that you’re cannot flourish. Usually ‘being vulnerable’ is seen in negative way, in general scenario. ‘Strength’ is the thing. Of course, it’s true. Unless you’re a strong life, you cannot survive. But ‘strength’ need not translate to ‘rigidness’ or ‘rigidity’. Unless you become vulnerable, unless you become less rigid, unless you open up a little bit around you, nothing wonderful can touch you. Nothing that is ‘real life’ can touch you. Lot of us think our life is our family, our car, house, career, job, or something. It’s not true. Of course these are the essential components of life, but when we term ‘life’, we are talking about the magnificent phenomenon that’s happening in and out of you everyday, every moment, but being terribly unnoticed by you.

Sun rises in the morning. There’s mist that the dawn carries. The birds chirp in their own language. The neighborhood puppy starts its day in its own way. The flower silently blossoms in your garden. There’s a cool breeze in the evening. The food that you eat becomes a part of you without your help. Your heart beats, kidney functions, just without your notice. You’re simply busy, rather preoccupied, in your own thoughts and emotions, building a rigid wall around, such that nothing of the above touches you.

The mind calculates in everything. ‘How much do I get?’, ‘What will I get?’, ‘What about me?’, and you miss the abandon called ‘life’. Just a little bit of breach in the rigid mind, in the rigid structures that we have put upon ourselves, a little bit of more breeze and playfulness — life changes magically, in the ways we have never imagined possible.
